Salary: MP Year 1‐2 $130,145 (£72,254*) ‐ $174,823 (£97,058*) p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation, and professional development allowance) *AUD/GBP conversion as at 18/01/2019 – Source: Oanda

Position Profile:   The Registrar Service position in Neonatal Paediatrics will be part of a busy team working with the support of 5 neonatologists enthusiastic teachers and mentors. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) has a 22 bed Level 5 NICU with 3300 births per year.

Fiona Stanley Hospital has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the country with a separate paediatric emergency department with attached 4 bed observation ward that sees 26,000 children/year. In addition, there is a mother baby unit (8 beds) and a youth mental health inpatient service (16-25 years 12 beds). FSH has a busy ambulatory service with a 24 bed Level 2 general paediatrics, developmental paediatrics, adolescent health, neonatology, paediatric subspecialties neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology, respiratory, surgery and immunology in paediatric adapted clinic space.

Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
